Certified Product & Parts Destruction
When something must be proven destroyed — not merely discarded — you need a witness, a method and a document. We provide all three.
Some material carries more risk as a product than it has value as scrap. A non-conforming aerospace part that finds its way back into service is a safety event and a liability claim. Recalled goods resold through a secondary market are a brand crisis. Obsolete tooling in a competitor's hands is lost IP.
Certified destruction closes that exposure. We destroy the item beyond reuse, document the method, and issue a Certificate of Destruction that identifies exactly what was destroyed, in what quantity, how and when — the record your auditor, insurer or legal team will eventually ask for.

The destruction process
Define the scope
Part numbers, lot numbers, quantities and the destruction standard your procedure or contract requires.
Sealed, segregated transport
Material moves under documented chain of custody and stays segregated from general scrap on arrival.
Destruction
Shear, shred, crush or mutilate as the material and the requirement dictate. Our industrial shredder handles whole units, not just drives — destroyed beyond any possibility of reuse or reassembly.
Witness or record
Attend in person, or we document the process. Video available where your procedure requires it.
Certificate of Destruction
Issued naming the items, quantities, method, date and responsible personnel. Serialized detail where the items carry serial numbers.
Recycling and reporting
The destroyed material is recycled through our certified process, and you receive diversion figures for sustainability reporting.

Certified Destruction — common questions
What is a Certificate of Destruction?
A formal document confirming that specific items were destroyed beyond reuse. It identifies the items and quantities, the destruction method, the date and location, and the responsible party. It is the evidence that satisfies auditors, regulators, insurers and — if it ever comes to it — litigation.
Can we witness the destruction?
Yes, and many aerospace and brand-protection customers do. Schedule it with your pickup and your representative attends in person. Where attendance is impractical we can provide video documentation.
Do you destroy parts so they cannot be reinstalled?
Yes — that is the definition of mutilation in aerospace practice. Parts are physically destroyed so no portion remains serviceable or salvageable for reuse.
How is this different from ordinary scrapping?
Ordinary scrapping is a commercial transaction: material changes hands and is recycled. Certified destruction is a documented compliance event: the material is deliberately rendered unusable, under custody, with a record. The difference matters only when something goes wrong — which is exactly when it matters most.
Is the destroyed material still recycled?
Yes. Destruction and recycling are not in conflict. Once the item is destroyed beyond reuse, the material is recycled through our R2v3 process and you receive diversion reporting.
